The Lead Extramural Support Assistant (GS-303-08) positions in the Division of Extramural Activities Support (DEAS) are expected to open on Monday, February 23rd. These positions will be open for consideration to NIH employees who are on the impacted list for the extramural activities support study. The positions will close in two weeks. I will send out a link to the vacancy announcement when it is posted on Monday.

Given the current number of staff eligible for consideration at the GS-8 level and the number of positions available, the competition for these positions is expected to be very significant.
