The Grants Program Evaluator (GS-301-11/12) positions supporting the Division of Extramural Activities Support (DEAS) have been posted on HHS Careers (Quick Hire) and can be viewed online at: To ensure that DEAS performs effectively, a Residual Effective Organization (REO) in the NIH Office of Extramural Research (OER) will monitor quality assurance. This organization, the Division of Quality Assurance (DQA), is seeking qualified individuals as program evaluators. Incumbents in these four positions will serve as Grants Program Evaluators with responsibility for ensuring that the grants management program is in compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations. Specifically, the purpose of the work is to determine if the DEAS is meeting the level of performance required in the statement of work and to review the billing procedures. In addition, they will audit the grants management function to include processes/procedures as well as conducting studies and inspections.
