The April schedule of courses that will be offered by the NIH Transition Center is available at

Employees may use the Transition Center e-mail address to register for courses (nihtransitioncenter@mail.nih.gov), or, beginning in April, they can register through NIHITS at http://nominate.od.nih.gov. Employees must include their NIH ID numbers when registering.

As in the past, individual classes can be added if the demand is high. As a reminder, the Transition Center staff may manage enrollment in order to ensure broad participation from across employee groups and institutes. A new item this month is Practice Interviews for employees that are applying for competitive positions but who don't want to take the interviewing course. These are not videotaped but employees will receive written feedback on the essential elements of interviewing that will help improve their performance
