Transition of Staff in Grades 2–7 |
Dear Colleagues:
This message is a "heads up" to employees in grades 2–7 who were identified as being within the scope of the extramural support Most Efficient Organization (MEO).
On June 1, staff at the GS-7 and below levels will receive an e-mail from the Division of Extramural Activities Support (DEAS) management. The e-mail will direct employees to a brief web-based questionnaire that asks about their current position and work schedule and their preferences for location and hub assignment in DEAS. Employees will be encouraged to attach a resume to their response, and will have two weeks to respond. Please note that NIEHS employees will not receive the e-mail.
All in-scope staff in grades 2–7 will be reassigned to DEAS, even if they do not respond to the e-mail. However, an employee who does not respond will miss out on the opportunity to express preferences for location and hub assignment in DEAS. It is in an employee's best interest to complete the questionnaire because it is the only way to indicate individual preferences, which will be accommodated if possible.
Everyone who receives an e-mail with the questionnaire on June 1 should submit a response, regardless of whether they applied for another position in DEAS.
